Originally from Philadelphia, Jackie Danziger is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist. She hosts and produces the podcast Voices of Recovery with Serenity Lane Drug & Alcohol Treatment Centers in Oregon. Jackie has presented work throughout NYC with Ars Nova, Pipeline Theater Company, The Attic, and Brooklyn Museum. She has performed in numerous short films and web sketches. She has received grants from the Brooklyn Arts Council and the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs for her original musical for young audiences entitled The Lost Light. Her recent project Public Disruption / Private Powers, a collaboration with fellow PIMA student, Rebecca Posner and the subway dance team WeliveThis, was shown at Brooklyn Museum as part of Assembly Required: Making Space for Community Engagement, a festival celebrating socially engaged art.
