Marissa Molnar makes, directs, and performs collaborative physical theater. She has been a company member since 2012 with Broken Box Mime Theater, which devises original work performed without words, props, or sets.  BKBX has recently received New York Innovative Theater Awards for Outstanding Ensemble, Choreography, and Performance Art Production, and grants from CUNY Dance Initiative and A.R.T./NY. Marissa was also a company member for five years with Synetic Theater in DC, receiving two Helen Hayes Awards for Outstanding Ensemble.  She performed with many regional theaters, toured nationally with Off-Broadway’s THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, and can be seen in two Zach Clark films.
