Paul is a performance artist and producer carving out spaces of fantasy in New York City and beyond. They can be seen performing often as BOYWOLF – a psychedelic queer ritual involving music, sexuality, video and movement – at clubs, warehouses, theatres and festivals such as LaMama ETC, Leslie Loman Museum, Joe’s Pub, MIX NYC, The Spectrum and Bushwig. As co-director of art collective The Culture Whore, Paul is known for throwing concept driven DIY Brooklyn warehouse parties such as OASIS, RIOT, AN1M0RPHS & the Psychic Series, as well as editing the weekly newsletter THE WEEK promoting the intersection between art and nightlife in NYC’s queer underworld. As associate producer at The Saint At Large, Paul helps run the 35 year old institution of The Black Party and manages events throughout the year. As the director of Descent Paul has directed and produced original immersive theatre pieces: GRAVITY at the American Repertory Theatre’s Club Oberon and Brooklyn’s legendary House of Yes and ENTOMO at Oberon. Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Paul has a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University. They have studied with theatre collectives SITI Company, Double Edge Theatre and Irondale Ensemble Project. Paul is currently pursuing their MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Arts at Brooklyn College.
